Gaurav, have you ever thought that the girl is going with the corrupt person because deep down she does not see herself good enough for you? Perhaps she can not handle honesty. If you are indeed honest, do not change, be yourself. If you were to change you would be even more unhappy, you wouldn’t be able to find any peace. Many times people leave someone and others think how could they do that; the person they left was a gift, etc… or they purposely do things to make the good person leave. They do this subconciously, and then when it happens they tell themselves, see I knew it was going to happen. They have some real issues, I believe that parents my age have done a disservice to our children and grandchildren. We wanted our children to have what we didn’t, we made excuses for them, we were too busy for them, etc… and now we have these children hungry for self-worth (not that they would tell you that), looking for discpline in their lives, looking for love, wondering what did they do wrongn not satisfied with anything, always wanting more material items, and on and on. I am not saying that it was that way for all of us but many and it has affected our off-spring.

Keep your values and honesty and it will happen. For years I thought that I would never be happy, never find anyone, but I did and of all places we met at a charity event. By the way that was 19 years ago.

We do not need another person to make ourselves whole, but we do need friends and to give to others that will make them feel good. Just a smile or a compliment will change a person’s whole day. Or maybe a comment in a blog. Good luck!

Now a days its rare to find this kind of nature but I like to tell you that the happiness one gets in accepting the mistakes will be far higher than achieving success at any cost.

nice to hear it Pravs…and I personally agree with it…but I don’t think there are much takers for this thought these days…ppl want success at any cost…and yes I mean AT ANY COST…down the line sometimes maybe their soul awakes and they may feel bad for the wrongs they have done to achieve suyccess but definitely very few ppl give it a thought when it comes to choosing between honest failure and corrupt success…

Lots of people do succeed through corrupt ways in this world but that doesnot mean that we should also follow thier path. True happiness and peace is what honest people enjoy. A robber grabbed a few lakhs by killing a business man doesnot mean that we should kill innocent men inorder to be rich. Whatever peace and hapiness we attain through honest deeds will not be attained or atleast enjoyed by us if it was attained through some corrupt deeds.Take my word.. :))May God bless you to be honest and happy throughout your life!!!! :))

Dear Gaurav,

A honest man should not change his own nature just because of a person who does not appreciate honesty. By changing so, he would then be one of the corrupted party. I think the honest one should stand by his nature and one day a TRUE love shall appreciate him. Rather than changing one self to suit someone who would not appreciate.
